I am currently pursuing Masters in Computer Science at University of Illinois, at Chicago. I enjoy solving complex problems, creating solutions out of thin air is what piqued me to pursue Computer Science. Prior to my Masters I worked as a Software Engineer, I love working with all the layers of the stack. Currently, I'm experimenting and exploring DevOps and Cloud Computing. When I'm not coding, I appreciate a good game with my wholesome squad.

Software Engineer Intern

GoDaddy, Kirkland

  • Developed JWT Token and Key Management API services for GoDaddy’s authorization platform following the microservices pattern using Spring Boot (Java).
  • Designed a KeyStore database in Amazon DynamoDB(NoSQL) and implemented multiple REST endpoints for creating, revoking, fetching, rotating and verifying JSON Web Keys with latency under 5ms.
  • Created unit tests for the services and endpoints using Mockito and JUnit improving the test coverage from 55% to 96%.

Software Engineer

Accenture, Hyderabad

  • Collaborated with an Agile team of 9 developers and designed a SaaS (Software as a Service) based E-Learning platform that was adopted by 35 clients across 9 countries.
  • Created Java utilities to interact with AWS services, reducing operational overhead
  • Architected product tours with React for a new feature that improved customer adoption by 90%.
  • Implemented a new Platform Trial feature using Amazon AppStream 2.0, Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), AWS Lambda.

PROJECTS

  • OneNews Utilized Node.JS, HTML, Boostrap, CSS, Express.JS, SQLite to implement a responsive and secure news aggregator application that displays articles based on the user preferences. Visualized statistics of all users using Chart.js and implemented CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Heroku and Docker.

  • Deal Notifier Built a product price tracker which tracks various websites like Amazon, Paytm and Flipkart and notifies when the price of the product falls. Used Python Language and Beautiful Soup Library for scraping.

  • Smart Search Engine • Used Flask and built a web search engine for UIC using a crawler with an IR system and the vector space model, resulting in a 50% improvement in search accuracy as measured by user testing.
